Feb 5 Van Horne Update

Vanek, natural hat-trick in sabres 5-0 win over leafs.
leads league with 32 goals.
Miller 16 save shut-out, second straight.
justin pogge saved 27 of 32 shots.
the sabres had 8 odd man rushes.
Tim Connolly and Drew Staford had the Sabres other goals.
the leafs are off until Saturday when they travel to Montreal, the Bell Centre.

Kobe Bryant followed up his memorable perfomance at madisson square garden with 32 points at the ACC.
The Raptors kept it close but were unable to win, lost fourth in a row 115-107.
Bosh left the game in the fourth quarter with a sprained knee.
Bryant finished with 36, 9 boards and 5 assists.
joey graham led the way for the raps with 24 points, 4 rebounds and 4 helpers.
jermaine o'neal and josh powell battled all night, o'neal rejected powell on a dunk attempt only to be rejected by powell when they came down the court.

Lebron James tried to outshine Bryant's performance at MSG.
Cavs beat the Knicks, 107-102.
James wasn't able to put up 61, but had the first triple double since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in 1975.
King James drained 52, and had 11 helpers and 10 boards.
Al Harrington led the way for the Knicks with 39 points and 13 assists.

Tim Thomas played stellar, with a high light reel save on Jeff Carter.
Bruins beat the Flyers 3-1.

The Penguins came back from 3-0, to beat the Lightning 4-3 in OT.
Malkin had two including the game winner.

Marrian Hossa lit the lamp twice, to lift the Wings over the Coyotes 5-4.

Nik Backstrom picked up his sixth shutout of the year.
The Wild blanked the Ducks 3-0.


The lone bright spot for the Argo's last year, kick returner Dominique Dorsey is leaving for greener pastures.
Dorsey signed with the Washington RedSkins wednesday.

In a press conference yesterday, Dickinson retired after 10 seasons that was plagued with injuries.
