Hi I'm Andrew Zwarych with your CSM sports update...
The Toronto Maple Leafs will be back in action tonight, they're in Sunrise, Florida for a date with the Panthers.
The Panthers are looking for their third win against the Maple Leafs this season when the teams face off for the second time in eight days.
Former Panther Mike Van Ryn is doubtful for tonight's game, the Leafs defenceman was driven into the boards awkwardly against the Canadians.
It looks like Brian Burke is trying to start a fire under Nik Antropov.
Yesterday, Burke appeared on a Toronto radio station and said he saw no reason why he would offer Antropov a new contract, and he thinks its time for a change of scenery for the power forward.
The Toronto Raptors, losers of six straight, travel to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves.
Presumably, the best matchup for tonight's game would have been Chris Bosh against Al Jefferson, but both big men will miss the game due to injury.
The Raps have won the past eight matchups against the Timberwolves.
Tip off is at 8.
The Montreal Alouettes have announced a press conference for later today where it is expected they will announce the re-signing of quarter back Anthony Calvillo. The 2008 CFL Most Outstanding Player apparently made his decision when his wife recieved a clean bill of health.
There were only two games on the ice last night,
Scott Clemennson is proving he can be a number one goalie in the NHL, he picked up his first shut out in five years in a 3-0 win over the Rangers.
The Montreal Canadians slide down the Eastern Conference continued last night, the Calgary Flames beat them 6-2.
The truth has come out, Alex Rodriguez has admitted to using steroids.
In a one and one interview with ESPN, A-Rod admitted to using banned substances between 2001 to 2003.
Troubled goaltender Ray Emery is making news yet again.
Emery has reportedly left his Russian team after being stiffed on his pay.
