Paul Pierce did it again, the Raptor killer put in another season high performance with 39 points.

Pierce drained nine of those points in overtime to stifle the Raps chances for a win.

Andrea Bargnani drained a three ball with just a second left to tie the game and send it to overtime.

Bargnani led Raps in points again with 23 points.

Even without their top two scorers in Jermaine O'Neal and Jose Cauldron, the Dinos never trailed through the second and third quarter.

The Celtics are now 4-0 against the Raptors so far this season.

Toronto are off until Wednesday when they host the Bulls.



A year after Roger Clemons told Congress that he never took took steroids.

A federal grand jury is being asked to determine whether he should be indicted on charges of lying under oath.

Since Clemons testimony, new evidence from Brian McNamee contradicts what was said under oath.

If charged with perjury Clemons could face jail time.



Chris Osgood had a stellar game with 44 saves, but the Wings couldn't hold on for the win. The Wings fell to the Stars 5-4 in overtime.

The Stars were down 3-1, but with just under three minutes left in the game Steve Ott taped in a powerplay goal from a tape to tape pass from Mike Riberio.

Trevor Daley played the hero, potting the winner 1:51 into the extra frame.



The Tampa Bay Lightning scored two goals 41 seconds apart to seal the win, they beat the Kings 3-1.

It was the first match-up between Steven Stamkos and Drew Doughty, the number one and two picks from last years draft.

Doughty left the game after suffering a hard check from Evgeny Artuckin with a bruised right thigh, no word on whether or not he will miss any games.



The Toronto Maple Leaf's will be without defenceman Jeff Finger for their match-up against the Nashville Predators tonight.

Both teams will be looking for the win, as they have both picked up quite a few losses as of late.



Tony Dungy made it official yesterday at a news conference in Indianapolis, calling it quits after a 31-year NFL career.

Dungy was the first ever african-american to win a superbowl.

His retirement triggered a succession plan Indianapolis put in place a year ago, making Jim Caldwell, the associate head coach, Dungy's replacement.



The Los Angeles Angels have locked up their most winnigest bench boss of all time.

They extended Mike Scioscia to a 10 year contract.

Under nine season of Scioscia the Angels have a record of 803-655.



Monday soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo was named the FIFA player of the year.

He scored 42 goals last season and became the first English Premier League player to win the prize in the award's 18-year history.



The Brewers have agreed to terms with shortstop JJ Hardy.

Hardy and the Brew Crew agreed to a one year deal worth around 4.6 million.

This was Milwaukee's first move after losing out pitcher CC Sabathia and signing closer Trevor Hoffman.
